About the Event

This 60-faced polyhedron shape is called a Rhombic Hexecontahedron, although we prefer our name for it - Radiant Christmas Star. Come and make your own! It is easier to make than the mathematical shape name is to say.

English Paper Piecing is a simple traditional patchwork technique of hand piecing using shaped papers. This three-dimensional project is relatively quick and easy; it is a great way to use up Christmas scraps or coordinate a new Christmas colour-theme. All going well, you will leave today with your own handmade 3D Radiant Christmas Star.

We made ours in red, white and gold Christmas fabrics, but you can choose blues, silvers, traditional, novelty, scrappy on the day. Our Christmas fabric stash is yours to raid.

No EPP experience necessary, although will be helpful. Early registration is important as we keep our class sizes small. Or better yet, get a group of three or more together and we can arrange a date to suit you.

Included are all materials to make your very own English Paper Pieced 3D Radiant Christmas Star. Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided.
